How to Help

As part of the Evenstar Charitable Association, we rely on the generosity and support of the public. We help desperate animals with donations from kind-hearted animal lovers - people like you who want to make a difference. We have a no-kill policy and will only euthanize upon vet recommendation if an animal is suffering beyond hope. This means our vet bills can be high but we believe this is worth the cost of saving lives. Whether you can give a regular monthly donation or a one-off gift to support a particular rescue animal or situation, we appreciate and value any amount and every bit helps. Volunteering gives you the chance to: · Build new skills · Meet amazing people · Make a genuine impact on the lives of rescued animals You’ll be part of a community of passionate animal welfare advocates, who rescue animals and promote animal welfare education and understanding. Whether you have an abundance of skills you can bring to us, or you are keen to learn new skills, so long as you are enthusiastic and committed, we welcome you! Some of our volunteer roles are hands on, helping directly with animals – from vet runs, feeding and cuddles, to screening and check-ins with our fosters and adopters. Other roles are behind the scenes – events, social media, program management, spreadsheet updates, website support and much more! Interested?
